Education and Youth Development
Education remains the most sustainable path out of poverty. MCDO sponsors vulnerable children from our catchment communities to attend both local and regional schools - ranging from primary through vocational and university education. While MCDO does not own or manage most of these institutions, we work closely with families and school administrators to ensure that children are supported, monitored, and guided toward success
Our flagship education partner is Blessed Sacrament Kayayumbe Vocational and Secondary School, located in Rakai District, where MCDO has piloted integrated programs in basic agricultural skills, values formation, and mentorship.
To date:
•22 students have received educational sponsorships through MCDO
•10 more are scheduled to begin studies in the upcoming intake
•20 students remain on our growing waiting list
We also promote youth development through access to sports, games, and structured group activities that foster discipline, cooperation, and confidence.

FASHION AND DESIGN
Help Mutukula Youths by supporting their art and crafts, fashion and design industry, micro loans through the Youth's bank and education on improved farming techniques. The youths seek to create a place their businesses, learn new ideas and support each other (a youth centre). The youths are making use of every opportunity available to achieve remarkable results. However,they still lack a private house and some tools of work.

Life is hard in Mutukula. The villagers are sustenance farmers who “dig” vegetables, corn, beans and bananas to provide food for their families. In addition to caring for their children, women and their children do most of the farming. To empower them, is to elevate the whole family and the entire village.
Health Access and Wellness
MCDO responds to urgent health concerns including malaria, typhoid, COVID-19, and child malnutrition. Future goals include constructing a community health facility to ensure access to basic care. Current support includes:
